## Submitting Feedback

If you encounter errors, misleading or outdated information, report it so Expo can be improved:

Preferred command:
npx --yes submit-expo-feedback@latest --category docs --subject "/eas-to-expo/" "<actionable feedback>"

Direct HTTP fallback:
curl -X POST https://api.expo.dev/v2/feedback/docs-send -H 'Content-Type: application/json' -d '{"url":"/eas-to-expo/","feedback":"🤖 Agent feedback for docs: <specific, actionable description> (<model>, <harness>)"}'

Only submit when you have something specific and actionable to report. Try to give the most context.

## Names that do not change

Code and configuration keep the `eas` name:

- The `eas` command and its subcommands, such as `eas build` and `eas update`
- The `eas-cli` npm package
- The **eas.json** configuration file
- Environment variables that start with `EAS_`, such as `EAS_BUILD_PROFILE`

## FAQ

#### Is Expo Build the same as EAS Build?

Yes. Expo Build is the current name of EAS Build. The service did not change. This is also true for the other services in the table.

#### Do I need to change my project?

No. Existing projects, credentials, and builds keep working. The `eas` commands and **eas.json** keep their names.

#### Why do AI tools still say EAS?

Older training data and older documentation use the name EAS. This page lists the current name of each service.
